Bags

Bags

It's all in the bag baby-defiantly it is if you are carrying a diaper bag for that little critter your lugging around. Seriously have you ever thought about just counting how many bags you might see in one day? Well that is exactly what I did. I devoted one whole day doing my daily errands on a hectic weekend (Saturday to be exact) to count how many different types of bags I had seen. On a side note how sad I am to see the variety of "alcohol bags" I had seen living my college days on a dry campus. *tear*

8:30 am

Awoken by my sweetie, to a Valentine's Day gift bag with my present in it I was so excited. A very simple, but elegant silver chain with a cross on it, which I had my eye on. I slowly made it into the kitchen for a cup of coffee sure enough I got a double whammy this time! On the kitchen chair was my sons book bag and beside the coffee pot a bag of coffee. (Starbucks)

10:00 am

I was taking a trip to Wal-Mart to pick up my sons Valentine's Day. I had picked him up a stuffed animal and a nose making card. Pretty sure you all already know were I am heading with this one right? Correct, at the register check out numerous Wal-Mart bags! Good thing I collect those for my bathroom trashcan! lol

11:00 am

Over at my friend Kerri's house, I was picking my son up so we could go to the mall, but before I got to slip out the door she asked me to please hand her the baby wipes for Jacob. I knew exactly where the location was the diaper bag!

12:00 pm

At the mall my son and I looking around to see if they had a pre-Presidential Day Sales! It was there when I fell in love with the bag! It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Words itself could not even explain it was a vibrant, green Coach bag. (Penelope Op Art Shopper)

2:00 pm

My son, Jeff, and I decided to go work out at the Ozark Fitness Center South and you know what I saw bags there too! Gym bags aka duffle bags whatever you would like to call them they are all the same to me. I realized by now that my obsession was probably getting way out of hand so I shall quit with my blog and just go ahead and give you my grand total 14!!!

Just imagine bags they are around us everywhere!!! (Even the word bag...air bag, sleeping bag, and the nortorius barf bag)

Socks!!!

Sock

How funny! Sock has many idioms, definitions, and can still be rather useful. Sock believes to come from the ancient word soccuses. Today socks have many roles. Thinking it would be useful to compile some useful ways to reuse socks.

1. Make a Sock Buddy-Sock Monkeys are a classic!

2. Recycled Dusters- Put a sock over your hand, spray some cleaner on the palm and dust away!

3. Door Draft Stopper- Using a tube sock, you can fill it with sand or rice and use them under your doors to stop the draft! (Energy saver)

4. Make Stylish Arm Warmers- Cut a hole in the toes of mismatched socks large enough to fit 4 fingers (your hand without the thumb) through. Then, cut out a small hole in the side for the thumb and stitch or use some fabric glue around the areas where you cut.

5. LoveSock for Male Iguanas- Place one sock inside the other sock, so they are double-layer thickness. Fill the sock with the rice. Don't fill it all the way full, but leave enough room so it is pliable, squishy, and has some give to it. Sew the opening several times with strong thread, so it won't rip easily or come unraveled. Place in microwave just long enough warm up.

Alright, alright one last thing before I "put a sock in it". For all you people who want to go walking and want a group to join this group is just for you!
